SunDance Marketing Solutions is Florida’s First Certified Sustainable Green Printer

ORLANDO, April 13, 2010 – SunDance Marketing Solutions today announced that it has been awarded certification by the Sustainable Green Printer Partnership (SGP). This makes SunDance Marketing Solutions one of only 21 printers in the United States and the first commercial printer in Florida to hold the prestigious honor.

The SGP Partnership is an independent certifying organization that provides printers with an opportunity to demonstrate their sustainability efforts and receive acknowledgement for their actions.

“We have worked incredibly hard to make our company as green as possible,” stated John Ruggieri, Partner. “Everyday we are looking for new ways to keep our business environmentally friendly. This green approach is reflected in everything from the light bulbs we use, the cups we drink out of and the way we run our printing operations.”

“The SGP verification process is not just a checklist—it is a commitment to continuous improvement,” said Timothy Freeman, President, Printing Industry Alliance, a founding partner of the SGP. The SGP certification process evaluates printers based on the product—paper and ink, the process—manufacturing procedures and press equipment and the envelope—supporting activities like energy consumption and employee health.

SunDance Marketing Solutions Achieves Women’s Business Enterprise Certification

ORLANDO, April 12, 2010 – SunDance Marketing Solutions today announced that it has been certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). The WBENC is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled and operated by women in the United States.

“We are pleased to begin our association with the WBENC,” stated Claire Fournier, Partner. “The organization provides many opportunities for women owned businesses and many corporations and government agencies are actively seeking to work with companies that have WBENC certification.”

“The process is rigorous and involves approval from 14 partner organizations; we look forward to a long relationship with the WBENC,” Fournier continued. “We consider this certification an important validation of our business model and our approach to serving our clients. We look forward to the new opportunities our WBENC certification will bring while we continue to add value as a WBE certified vendor.”

Orlando Printing Company Steals the Show
Relative Newcomer Takes Home National Awards

ORLANDO, Fla. (October 7, 2009) – With some of the most outstanding printing pieces in Central Florida, from some of the area’s top corporations, Orlando print-company, SunDance Graphics, accepted two national awards for what is considered the best printing produced in the United States. The Benny Awards (Benny’s), the ultimate honor given at The Premier Print Gala, were held at the Chicago Marriott Downtown.

Just last month the company won 22 awards at the Central Florida Region’s award ceremony. Local companies like Florida Hospital, Starwood Vacation Ownership, Hard Rock and Hilton Grand Vacations were represented by the winning entries.

As recognition of outstanding achievement in print production, SunDance Graphics won two of only three “Benny’s” bestowed upon companies in Florida. Furthermore, the Orlando printer did so a mere three years after venturing into commercial printing.

“We’re so honored to be the Central Florida print company that has received such a venerable distinction, placing us among the nation’s best printers,” said John Ruggieri, Partner of SunDance Graphics. “Although we have years of experience as fine art publishers, SunDance Graphics has only been in commercial printing for three years, so it’s enormously gratifying to win for categories in that sector.”

Michael Makin, president and CEO of Printing industries of America, agrees. “The Benny winners represent the best our industry has to offer. This year’s entries were outstanding, but despite the fierce competition, SunDance Graphics, through hard work and dedicated craftsmanship, produced not one but two pieces worthy of the Benny.”

SunDance Graphics won “Benny’s” for two pieces in two different categories: “The Noble Marketing Brochure” won in the Brochures and Broadsides (one-, two- or three-color) category and “The Pocket Guide to Perfect Binding” won for the Pre-Press Companies, Finishing, Advertising and Other Graphic Arts Firms category.

This year, over 3,600 entries were received from printing and graphic arts firms from around the world, and judges awarded the Benny, named for Benjamin Franklin, to the top entry in each of 76 categories. Benny Awards are the top distinction among many Premier Print Awards, the graphic arts industries largest and most prestigious worldwide printing competition.

8/10/2009 - SunDance wins 23 awards at PAF Awards

The annual Printing Association of Florida print award ceremony was held Saturday night, and SunDance had one second place winner and 22 first place winners. We won three trophies, one for BEST IN SHOW, Division One (for printing companies with less than 20 employees), one for MOST CREATIVE USE OF PAPER, and BEST ART REPRODUCTION.

In addition to the state-wide awards, SunDance also won two of the three “Bennys" awarded in the state of Florida. The Benny award is named after Benjamin Franklin and is “awarded to the most outstanding entry in each category". To win, an entry must be "flawless.” The Benny is a national award chosen from some 5000 entries.
